Kristina Bross is Associate Professor of English and American Studies.  She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1997.  In addition to Purdue, she has taught at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, and Johannes-Gutenberg Universitat, Mainz, Germany.  Her areas of interest include early American studies, especially European-Native relations, early modern transatlantic studies, and violence in early America.
